The Fluorites below in this rare shade of blue is found chiefly at the
mines in Bingham, New Mexico and is very rare. Its ethereal blue shade, glassy luster, and crystalline structure make Blue
Bingham Fluorite a favorite for collectors. Also found are the more common colors lavender to purple.
These were collected
by a friend of my who has a claim in the Blanchard area. All the Fluorites are from his claim and he takes much care in how
he removes them to get the best specimens.
Location of these Fluorite is Southcut Claim, Hansonburg Dist. Socorro Co, New Mexico
